We have been coming to Cyprus for some time.
In 2005 we came out for the Christmas period with the whole family, renting a villa in
the Akamas peninsular. We decided then, that we would come back the following year
and take a serious look at moving out here permanently.
In November 2006 we came out for a three week holiday, with the intention of
looking at a few properties over a couple of days, to get an idea of availability and
cost.
We spent nearly the entire holiday looking at properties! As there was a lot to chose
from.
Frustrated at being shown properties that we were not really interested in, by
various estate agents, we finally met Marcus at Kaimar Consulting Ltd. He sat down
with us and really listened to what we were looking for.
He then brought us up to Arakapas, and showed us several properties that were much
nearer to what we had in mind.
The minute we stepped foot in the village we felt at home, when we saw what would
eventually be our house we decided there and then that this was the moment to make
a life changing decision.
We then looked at another property that planted an idea that we had never
considered before. Buy two smaller properties instead of one larger one and rent one
out.
Marcus had delivered exactly what we wanted and it would seem, more. We soon met
Bampos, the builder who with his team of artisans, rebuilds and restores old village
properties, and the rest is as they say history !
