Posted 19th/11/11 - As from November 28th Kaimar Consulting Ltd will be acting as property
management for 'Georgiou's House' and 'Chyreen'. Both will still be booked via this website but
they will be the in country contact and will now welcome our guests and arrange cleaning in our
absense. Bookings of 'Chyreen for terms longer than one month will also be handled by them as this
would no longer be considered a 'Holiday Let'.
Posted 09/11/11 - Property #2 (Chyreen) will now be available from November 28th and after
consulting with Kaimar we feel that we can not offer the service we would have liked to, for short
term lets of less than 30 days on this property, so this will be the minimum that can be booked.
We will as usual offer a discount for Longer lets ( 21 days or more property #1 30 days or more
property #2) as we wish to encourage guests to enjoy Cyprus for longer. The Long let would be on a
monthly rental basis calculated to include water and gas and the guest would be responsible for the
electricity which would be calculated from unit rates at the time of occupancy and the meter read
on arrival and departure.

Posted 01/09/11 - Pictures of the other property we have been looking at advertising (our main
house) are now posted in our gallery and we have also included the pricing and details in our 'Rates
and availability' page. The calendar has not yet been activated as we do not have confirmation on
dates yet Please let us know via the 'Contact Us' page if you are interested.
Posted 26/08/11 - Owing to a change in circumstances at my place of work we are looking at the
possibility of adding our main house to this site for letting either on a long term basis or as short
holiday lets. The property is a two bedroom traditional stone built two story house with fully fitted
kitchen diner, lounge, guest toilet, two en-suite double bedrooms and two large balconies as well as
a secluded courtyard. 'Georgiou's House' as well as this additional property will still be run from
this site but customers and the properties will be looked after by our friends at Kaimar Consulting.
At the moment we are looking at this property being available by the end of December but this is
yet to be confirmed. For more details please contact us using the enquiry form on the 'Contact Us'
page as it's a larger property the price will be slightly higher than 'Georgiou's House' but will still
offer good value for money as well as an alternative to hotels. Please watch this space for updates
and more details as well as pricing and pictures will be posted shortly.
Posted 23/05/11 - Due to our work commitments and a much needed holiday, Georgiou's House will
not be available from June 26th to August 27th we're sorry to disappoint potential customers but
feel we could not provide the service we would like to.
Posted 22/05/11 - Due to Caryn's work commitments we are now unable to take bookings that
'overlap' with the previous booking, in order to give Caryn adequate time to prepare the property
for the next guest. Therefore the booking system will undergo a slight change and dates at the end
of bookings will be blocked to allow for this.
Posted 07/01/11 - I have now updated the site with the new rates these are now in Euro's for
anyone who has booked before. This as explained in earlier posts is something we have had to do.
Posted 06/01/11 - Our rates will be changing soon and will come into effect from the 31st
January 2011 anyone that books and pays a deposit before then will only be charged the 2010
rates. This will be available via a special offer button that I have set up and those concerned will
be told how to pay.
The deposit is still pretty much the same just changed to Euro's.
Posted 05/01/11 - We will be operating a different system for long term lets (21 days or more)
this year. A lower rate will be charged and the customer is then responsible for the electricity and
water costs.
A reading of the meters will be made and confirmed with you on your arrival along with the current
rates charged by the companies and then another just as you leave.
The sum can then be either paid in cash or if you prefer deducted from your returned security
deposit. This we have done for a couple of customers who contacted us directly without booking
through the site, and they seemed to prefer this so we thought we would try this for a while to
general customers. There is a reason for this, a customer once stayed for a month and used the
A/C for heating which can be very expensive especially compared to using the provided heaters. We
had a bill of 90 Euro's for that period and that's more than we normally pay for a quarter !
