Accommodation available to let in the village of Arakapas, Cyprus

At the foot hills of the Troodos mountains the village of Arakapas nestles in a valley amongst the citrus groves of Cyprus, approximately 40Km drive to the North East of Limassol.

The village is a centrally located base from which you can explore. Away from the more usual tourist areas you will experience the real delights of Cyprus and it's people. If it's a beach holiday with nearby pubs and nightlife you want, then this is not for you ! We can't even offer you a swimming pool !

All we can offer is comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price, in a quiet village away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

It's not total isolation though !
There is a taverna serving delicious Cypriot food, from a simple Souvlaki to a full blown Meze. There is also a village shop, a butcher, a bank and two coffee shops.

You will find the villagers and the few ex-pats that live here are very friendly and you will be made most welcome.

If you still fancy a day at the beach, it is only 30-40Km drive to the nearest one, as are the larger shops and night life of Limassol. So you get the best of both worlds !
There is also a water park nearby in Fasouri, should the beaches not take your fancy.

The beautiful Troodos mountains are always worth a visit and are approximately 20-30Km  drive through heavily scented pine woods.

There is an abundance of archaeological sites and places of interest most of which are within approximately 40Km drive.

Then of course there is the weather with year round sunshine, Cyprus is an island that offers some of the best weather conditions in Europe with warm summers, mild winters and around 340 days a year of sunshine, with average temperatures of between 22 and 35 degrees. As the village lies above the 'humidity line' the climate tends to be more comfortable.
